Pocono Lupus Loop 5K Walk / Run

Welcome to the information site for the first annual Pocono area Lupus Loop!  This site is intended for reference only, and will provide you with event status and contact information as we move closer to event day.

About the Event

The Lupus Loop is facilitated by a local chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. and is held annually in communities across the country to support lupus patient services, community awareness programs, and funding for lupus research.  We are proud to announce that members of the Stroudsburg, PA chapter (part of the Pocono/Northeast PA branch) have initiated planning to hold their first annual event with much support from the nearby Scranton and Wilkes-Barre chapters.

The Lupus Loop 5K Walk/Run is the branch's biggest event, drawing hundreds of walkers, runners, and volunteers across the 15 county service area.  Over the past 9 years, the event has become quite popular in the Scranton and Wilkes-Barre areas.  The Stroudsburg chapter hopes to realize the same level of success to support the needs of local patients. 

The event will inclue a 5K (3.1 mile) walk and run.  There will be awards, children's events, food, raffles and a health fair tent.  A free T-shirt accompanies each registration and all proceeds benefit the Lupus Foundation of Pennsylvania.

Registration:  $20 pre-registration or $25 day of event
